Park City/ Karli's Cabin

Walking main street.. I look like a giant.
We saw the tightest ice tree so we had to stop our car and take a picture. hah

The cow.
The girlies in Park city. We were freezing!
My awesome snow outfit..

Christmas!!

The famous top of the stairs Christmas morning picture. Chase and I look so happy..

Surie got a toy cell phone for christmas and after she opened it, she didn't want to open anymore of her presents. All she wanted to do was play with her phone. It was hilarious.

St. George

The first week in december I drove down to St. George to figure out school for next semester. I have loved being home with my family, but I miss living away too so I'm really excited to move back in January.

We went to a ugly sweater party.. don't mind the random guy in the back?

Robyn didn't have an ugly sweater.. so she got punished. :]

We put Christmas lights around our apartment window. They looked so cute!

We tried making jello shapes.. they didn't work out so well..

Thanksgiving- Cabin

On thanksgiving we had dinner at grandma Suki's house and then headed up to my favorite place on earth... the cabin! Thanksgiving wouldn't be the same without the cabin and the tradition of cutting down christmas trees, and most importantly being with the family. My Dad, Sadie, Tyson and Julie, the Olsons and the Tidwells were missed by us all. <3

Farewell

On November 16th it was my friend Brady's farewell. Brady is going on his mission to New Zealand. It was the first time all of our friends were together since we left for school, so it was really fun to see everyone and hang out with them for the weekend. Brady is one of my best friends and he will surely be missed. :[

update

The past two months have been nothing short of craziness. Being sick and in the hospital, not  being able to eat, becoming best friends with tums, worried visitors, more doctors appointments than I can count, moving back home, dropping out of school, sleeping more hours than Im awake, trips back and forth from the 801 to St. George, one of my best friends leaving on a mission, and my t.v schedule of the food network channel, ellen, heroes, samantha who, CSI: (all three), my own worst enemy, the hills, NCIS, 90210, gossipgirl, private practice, night rider, eleventh hour, greys anatomy etc.. (thank goodness for tvo) has kept me pretty busy. Due to this craziness I have been  a definite blogging slacker, but here is an update on my not so college life..
I was really sick in St. George for a week and a half and wasn't getting better, so when I came home for fall break my mom took me to my doctor. They thought I had pneumonia and put me on a super strong antibiotic called cyproflaxin. I started taking it and soon after I couldn't stop throwing up. It got so bad that anything I ate or drank I would throw up two minutes later. I got so dehydrated and I hadn't peed in 24 hours, so off to the hospital we went. When we got there they hooked me up to an IV and took my vitals, drew blood, did a cat scan, took x-rays and got a pee sample in a way that I will never forget etc.. etc.. Soon after the doctor came back with my test results and turns out I had fluid around my heart and my kidney function was at a 5 when it should be about a 1, which means my kidneys were functioning at only 8%. They admitted me to the hospital where I stayed that whole week. This was my first time staying in a hospital and lets hope it was my last. Im pretty sure the doctors and nurses hope it was my last time also because I was such a brat. Long story short, they couldn't figure out why I was sick or what was causing the kidney failure. I was their own "medical mystery." After keeping me on fluids the whole week, my kidneys were finally getting better so I was able to go home! I was so excited to get out of there and be done with them taking my blood about a million times, not to mention everyday at 5 in the morning. But actually it didn't stop there. I had to be back to the hospital for more blood tests, check ups to go to, more appointments to doctors I had never heard of before and all of which they pricked me and took more blood. Lets just say I still have bruises and marks on my arms. All in all, after a month of being sick and a conference call between all of my doctors, they were finally able to figure out what was wrong with me. Turns out I was in kidney failure because I was taking Ibprofen and the cyproflaxin while I was dehydrated, so it was too much for my kidneys to handle and so therefore they were shutting down. But interesting enough thats not why I was sick. I have pancreatitis, which is inflammation in the pancreas, other than it can be really serious and dangerous, I don't know too much about it. Im doing a lot better now, and Im thankful to those of you that visited me, called daily, sent flowers, brought me magazines, attempted to bring me food, fasted and kept me in your prayers. It means a lot, and it really showed me how truly and deeply loved I am.

I have pictures but Im a little embarrassed because I look like Kung Fu Panda in them. My Aunts think they are funny and think that one day ill look back and be able to laugh at them.. but that day hasn't come and Im still not over it. Maybe in a few weeks it will pass and ill be able to post them.

Yes we are in college..

I cant help that Im really funny?... haha
The other night we went water ballooning. Although some might ask other wise because of our immature behavior.. we are indeed in college. haha

Rainy Day..

Today after school it finally rained. We went out and took jumping pictures while it was just sprinkling but after a while it started pouring. We ended up playing in the rain for like an hour. It made my day. I seriously love my roommates and the crazy fun things we do. They are really the best i could ask for.

It was my roommate Jael's Birthday so we all went out for chinese food at China Palace.

Walllyy Mart

The second we got home, we got back in the car and headed to our new favorite store. We practically live there and basically best friends with everyone that works there.

The 801

This weekend I finally got to go home! I had so much fun seeing my family and friends. It was a little weird being home with all the new changes such as my room being taken over by Sadie, and Chase having a car and being able to drive, or Surie in general has changed a bunch, but as weird as it was.. it was good to be home. I have only been living away for a month now but going home made it feel like foreverrr.

On friday I went to the East football game with my family and then hung out with my grandma Jill and watched her favorite t.v show until like one in the morning. It was classic. On Saturday I got to go to Tater tots football game. I was so excited to finally watch him play. Then after his game all the boys went to the BYU football game, so us girls in the fam went to lunch and shopping.  That night we went to grandma suki's for dinner and after I hung out with my girl and guy friends. On sunday we had family pictures.. which I look chinese in all of them. NBD. Anyways, then we had family dinner at Gpa and Gma Tidwells house where we ate one of my favorite meals: my grandpa's tacos. You can never go wrong with a Tidwell family dinner. :]
I loved spending time with my family this weekend and it was a little bittersweet leaving them again. But no need to worry.. my aunts are coming down this weekend and ill be back
in two weeks.

Family pictures.. I look chinese.

"Just being crazy"

Me and Cate drove down for the weekend to visit some friends in Cedar. After our 3 am. walmart run we had a photo shoot outside.. haha this is just a few of the many pictures we took.

CAVING

Last night we had the opportunity to go caving.. [aka playing glow stick hide and go seek in a dark cave.] We drove up snow canyon to a underground cave, where we had to crawl down into the cave in the pitch dark. It took us 20 min of climbing through the cave to find the spot, there was even bats! When we finally made it to the right spot in to cave everyone wears black and splatters the cut open glow sticks onto themselves, the ground and the cave walls. It was so cool when everyone had a million glowing dots all over themselves and blended in with ground and walls of the cave. We then played hide and go seek which was wayyy fun but hard cause you really couldn't see anyone. Although hide and go seek was fun, i have to say my favorite part was breaking open the glow sticks and splattering everyone with them.

Later that night too.. we had a random surprise when three of our guy friends that go to SUU drove down to hang out with us and spent the night at our place only to drive back this morning for school. They are crazyy.. but it was fun to see them.
